Boy! Do I LOVE Friday's!!! I don't know 'bout you but as soon as I get up Friday morning, I am so excited!!! Even if I have nothing planned or if I've been deathly sick all week, I love Friday's! I guess it's because I'm from Hawaii where Fridays are "Aloha Fridays" and the weekend is always jumpin' in LTown! (put 'em up, put 'em up!)
That said, I truly hope you have a Happy Aloha Friday and please be safe! No drinking and driving, no texting and driving, no eating while driving, try not to play dj while driving and most of all Drive With Aloha!!!
Aloha!
Why I love my sister
The Importance Of A Sister
No matter how much you argue you cannot be drawn apart.
She is a joy that cannot be taken away,
Once she enters your life, she is there to stay.
A friend who helps you through difficult times,
Her comforting words are worth much more than dimes.
A partner who fills your life with laughs and smile,
These memories last for miles and miles.
When she is by your side, the world is filled with life,
When she is not around, your days are full of strife.
A sister is a blessing, who fills your heart with love,
She flies with you in life with the beauty of a dove.
A companion to whom you can express your feelings,
She doesn’t let you get bored at family dealings.
Whether you are having your ups or downs,
She always helps you with a smile and never frowns.
With a sister you cannot have a grudge,
She is as sweet as chocolate and as smooth as fudge.
Having a sister is not just a trend,
It is knowing you can always turn to her, your best friend.

Every Wednesday my local grocery stores start their sales/deals. I am so sad that my beloved Albertson's will be swithing over to the other guys real soon! They ALWAYS have great sales and great promo's that make the sale evn sweeter! But that's gonna be a thing of the past when they change their name.
My heart goes out to all of the Center Street workers as I have gotten to know each of them. Some, have quit in search of another job and some just don't know what their going to do. I've offered my services and home to them where I would teach them how to coupon. And to my surprise, many have accepted.
Folks, times are hard no matter where you live. And some of us are lucky to have saved some money for this never-ending rainy day. When I taught to coupon, I will always remember the video I watched of how to save your dollar you already have with couponing. You don't look for new money, you simply keep the one you have and use it over and over again.
Couponing will not only save you money, it will allow you to build food/water storage and become prepared for any emergency quickly and easily. When I say emergency, yes I'm talking about natural disaster but I'm also talking about unexpected lay-offs, your working spouse suddenly falls ill, those kinds of things.
If you would like to learn how to coupon online, please visit the coupon link on my sidebar and I will be willing to give you this information, FREE!

I am most happy when I am in the service of my brother or sister. Over they years, twelve years to be exact, I have seen the hand of the Lord at work, I have seen the pure love of Christ in action and let me tell you, it is AMAZING!
I was usually on the receiving side and it amazes me how people always show up at the right time, all the time. Just when I thought "no more, I can't do it", someone walks into my life and makes such an impact on me and my family that we cannot help but try to give back.
If you suffer with depression, service is the best cure! Seratonin is a chemical in our brains that control our moods. It is usually referred to as the "happy feeling" hormone. When we serve someone in need, our seratonin levels increasing causing a feeling of joy and happiness. This is true not only for us, the giver, but the person on the receiving side.
I love having my very own support team. My family is my support team. We love to help each other and other people, as well, and when one of us have a project, we're 110% behind 'em! The past couple of months we have been so blessed to be a part of a special little boy's life.
MJ Tokelau is a four year old boy that was diagnosed with cancer back in June of 2009. He's such a sweet spirit and has bought many blessing to our family. His mom is a strong woman--she is with him all hours of the day! Her family, too, supports her in everything MJ does and need. The Selu family emulate the love of Christ and I am so thankful to know them.
We were blessed to take part in a few events in honor of MJ. (photos coming soon)

My family is the world to me. I love having them in my life and thank heavens that I still have both parents--I don't know how our family would function with only one.

I thought I'd clean up the place before actually advertising my blog to friends & family although it doesn't make a difference cause family & friends don't judge. But just in case you're wondering my blog is so plain, sometime less is more. And if you're wondering why the bird, it's the closest thing to a dove and I love Dove products. lol. Without further adieu, drum roll please.....
Hello and welcome to my blog. It's where I share happy thoughts! I just think the world is filled with way too much drama and I really don't care to fill my life with all that nonsense. Hopefully you come to blog with happy thoughts... if not, I'm sure you'll leave with one or two. lol.
Feel free to take a look around... nothin' much, just stuff about me, Jasmyn.
